We Are Launching Our Global Scholarship Program
We’ve been working on something big, and today, we’re ready to share it with you. Business Heroes® Academy is proud to announce the launch of our Global Scholarship Program, inspired by the Big Mac Index.
This program ensures that service-based entrepreneurs worldwide can join the Academy at a fair and equitable investment, based on their local economy.
Because accessibility isn’t charity. It’s strategy.
Why This Matters
Many business growth programs are built with one kind of entrepreneur in mind: someone living in the U.S. or Western Europe. Their investment level makes sense in those markets, but it unintentionally locks out ambitious entrepreneurs from many other parts of the world.
On the other hand, many local business programs (outside of the U.S. or Western Europe) are more financially accessible, but they rarely connect you with the global market. They don’t usually attract entrepreneurs from the U.S. or Western Europe, which means the exchange of ideas stays limited to one region.
And then there are the niche programs. Designed specifically for individuals within the same industry or for online businesses. Those can be valuable, but they miss the diversity of service-based entrepreneurs who often deliver a mix of in-person and online services.
Business Heroes® Academy is different. It’s built for service-based entrepreneurs everywhere, combining the best of both worlds:
- Global diversity of perspectives.
- Fair investment that reflects different markets.
- A mix of entrepreneurs who deliver in person, online, or both — learning from each other’s strengths.
What Makes the Business Heroes® Academy Different
The Academy isn’t another self-study library you’ll never finish.
It isn’t just a mastermind.
It’s a global business club where service-based entrepreneurs:
- Use the Business Heroes® Grid to spot gaps and design smarter ways to attract, convert, and retain clients.
- Build their Hybrid Edge — a signature offer that combines personal delivery with scalable systems.
- Move step by step through the Entrepreneurial Journey Framework, with 6 phases and milestones that give structure to growth.
But more than tools or frameworks, the Academy is about connection. It’s about working smarter together. It’s about accountability, momentum, and knowing you’re not building your business alone.
Global Scholarship Program
Here’s how it works:
- The Academy has a set monthly investment.
- Through the Global Scholarship Program, entrepreneurs can apply for an adjusted investment that reflects their local economy.
- This ensures that no matter where you’re based, you invest fairly and equally, not in the same number, but with the same level of commitment.
It’s not about discounts. It’s not about lowering the bar.
It’s about raising the standard of what’s possible when entrepreneurs from around the globe unite in one community.
The Vision: Stronger Together
Within the Academy, members not only learn from coaches and invited experts but also from one another.
- A lawyer in India might share how she packaged her services into a hybrid offer.
- A chiropractor in Chile could reveal how he automated client onboarding using the Grid.
- A hairdresser in Vancouver might inspire others with how she built a client experience worth paying more for.
Different backgrounds. Different markets. Different ideas.
One global business club.
That’s the power of diversity in action, and it’s what makes the Academy unlike anything else.
A Note from Our Co-Founder Sarah Watz
Ever since I started offering the Business Heroes® Academy in English, I’ve carried a question with me: how can I help the Business Heroes (our clients) make a bigger impact locally and globally?
While I was giving keynotes in places like Kenya, Malaysia, and India, I realized something important:
Entrepreneurs — no matter where they live — don’t want charity. They want the chance to grow their business, contribute to a community of equals, and the ability to invest in their own growth.
At the time, I was serving as President of Joomla, and we decided to apply the McDonald’s Index to a new certification program. The result was a huge success.
That insight never left me. And now, years later, I’m proud to bring that same principle to Business Heroes® Academy. I’m thrilled to finally launch the Global Scholarship Program and open the doors wider for Business Heroes from around the world.
Unlike many businesses that donate a percentage of revenue to charity at the end of the year, we’ve built impact directly into the Academy itself — by providing fair access for entrepreneurs everywhere to create a bigger impact both locally and globally.
The Invitation
We don’t just want entrepreneurs who can afford to be here. We want entrepreneurs who are ready to contribute, grow, and support each other. Check out the Academy here >>
If you’d like to apply for an adjusted membership investment, you’ll find the application on that page as well.
Together, we’re building a global business club for Business Heroes from around the world.
